Error occurred while loading role list

Problem

“Error occured while loading role list.” error occurred after loading the application.

Solution

This error occurs when AS Authorization package was not referenced in the application and a menu item has a role assigned.

To correct this you need to change the application model by referencing the AS Authorization package.

  1. Open an application package in Architect
  2. In the Model Browser select the top-most item (the package)
  3. Right click and select Edit Item
  4. Go to Package References tab
  5. Click Add Reference
  6. Select AS Authorization package
  7. Click Save button
  8. Click Save Model button
  9. Restart the application server.
