Often the users do not actually test the application when in development. Important requirements come after they start using it. That is definitely very late. How to avoid?
In my opinion the best way of getting people to test a Software is to require a written approval by a determined date. In addition there should be a clause which says something like “the deliverable is approved automatically, when the determined date has expired”.
