Colors in architect-html are named by lightness (background1..background8, foreground1..foreground7), not by role. From the variable name you can’t tell whether a value is meant as a surface, a text color or a border, and roughly 45 colors are hardcoded in component styles outside the palette entirely.
I’d like to rename the palette to semantic tokens and pull the stray colors back into it. Pure refactor, no visual change - but it also removes the main obstacle to adding a dark mode later.
Effort: S. I’d do it gradually as a relaxing side task, if nobody objects.
