I was trying to change sorting in CR in ORIGAM 2015.11.73 release. I added a top level group in CR designer and sorting was just fine. When I copied finished report into a porduction environment, i seems no sorting is applied.
The behaviour is the same in dekstop or web client.
Any advice?
ORIGAM does not change the way how data get sorted in Crystal Reports. If you make a group in CR, it should get sorted.
An idea – isn’t the group based on an ID field (Guid)?
The top group is based on DocumentDelivery.TextInvoice, the one directly below is DocumentDelivery.Id
Then what you should see in your report are items sorted by the TextInvoice field. Maybe post an image so we could see better.
